THE QUESTIONS BEHIND THE FINE PRINT

Booking Terms and Conditions

These terms explain, in plain English, how booking an Uluru (Ayers Rock) day tour through us works. We’re a booking agent. Independent operators run the tours, and each operator confirms the details of its own tour. Read this alongside the tour page you’re looking at and our guide to how booking works.

Who am I actually booking with?

OUR ANSWER

Uluru Tours Packages is an Alice Springs-based booking agent. We help you understand, compare and book one-day Uluru tours that are run by independent operators. We don’t operate tours ourselves.

The operator of your chosen tour delivers the experience. Transport, guiding, accommodation and activities are provided by that operator only where they’re included in the package you select. If something isn’t listed as included for your tour, don’t assume it’s part of it.

Not sure which tour suits you? Our guide Aren’t All Uluru Day Tours the Same? covers what to compare.

CONFIRMED PER TOUR

Four details only the operator can confirm

Uluru day tours differ from one another. These details belong to each tour, and they’re confirmed for your chosen tour before you book.

01

Inclusions
What the package covers, from viewpoints and guided walks to transport. How inclusions vary.

02

Availability
This depends on the tour, its operating schedule, the season, the weather and capacity.

03

Pricing
The itinerary, departure location, date, seasonal demand, duration, group size and included activities can all change the price.

04

Cancellation conditions
The operator sets these for each tour. Check them for your tour before you pay.

WHAT WE DON’T PROVIDE

Can you book my flights, car or insurance too?

No. We don’t provide standalone flight bookings, car hire, travel insurance or a general accommodation booking service. You’ll need to arrange these yourself.

Depending on the tour, items such as flights to the Northern Territory, accommodation, personal expenses, travel insurance, optional activities, and meals or park entry fees may also not be part of the package. The exclusions for each tour are confirmed for that tour.

CONSUMER LAW

Do I still have my usual consumer rights?

Yes. Tourism in Australia is subject to the Australian Consumer Law, along with passenger transport rules, workplace health and safety obligations and national park rules. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

We don’t add guarantees or refund promises of our own beyond what’s confirmed for your tour. If you have a question about a booking, contact us.

PARK RULES

Commercial tours in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park generally need the right permits and must follow Parks Australia regulations, including environmental protection and respect for Anangu, the Traditional Owners. On the day, follow your guide’s directions and the park’s signage.

What happens when I send an enquiry?

OUR ANSWER

When you use our enquiry form, you’ll get an automatic confirmation email to say we’ve received your enquiry. Your enquiry is stored privately on this website. It isn’t sent automatically to any marketing service, and the form doesn’t take payment.

Sending an enquiry doesn’t confirm a booking. Your booking depends on the operator confirming availability and the details of your tour. To find out how your details are handled, see our Privacy Policy.
