A QUESTION BEFORE YOU BOOK

How Booking an Uluru Day Tour Works

Booking an Uluru (Ayers Rock) day trip through us comes down to three steps: explore the tours, check your date, then enquire or book. Each step is answered below, including the details that only the independent operator can confirm for your chosen tour.

01

EXPLORE

Where do I start comparing Uluru day tours?

OUR ANSWER

Start on our Uluru one-day tours page. From there, each confirmed tour has its own page setting out the itinerary, attractions, duration, pricing and inclusions as the operator has confirmed them.

Read a few side by side. Uluru day tours are not all the same: length, stops and what’s included vary with the itinerary and the operator. Our guide Aren’t All Uluru Day Tours the Same? shows you what to compare first.

02

CHECK AVAILABILITY

Will my tour run on the day I want?

OUR ANSWER

Choose a preferred travel date, then check which options are open. Availability depends on the tour you’ve picked, the operator’s schedule, the season, the weather and the places left on the day. A date that suits one tour may not suit another.

Where your day begins matters too. If you’re still deciding, read Planning an Uluru Day Trip from Alice Springs or Planning an Uluru Day Trip from Ayers Rock. A second date in mind can make things easier.

03

ENQUIRE OR BOOK

What happens when I press Book Now?

OUR ANSWER

Book Now takes you to our enquiry form. Tell us which tour you’re interested in and your preferred date. Once you send it, you’ll get an automatic confirmation email to say your enquiry has arrived.

We then confirm the details of that tour before anything is booked, so you know what the day involves before you commit.

AFTER YOU BOOK

Who actually runs my tour on the day?

We’re a booking agent based in Alice Springs. We help you compare and book Uluru day trips, and an independent operator delivers the tour itself. Transport, guiding, accommodation and activities are provided by that operator, and only where your chosen package includes them.

We don’t sell standalone flights, car hire, travel insurance or general accommodation. If you need those, plan them separately.

Commercial tours in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park generally need permits and must follow Parks Australia regulations, including respect for Anangu. Read more in Visiting Respectfully: Anangu Culture and Park Rules.
